Florida’s Urban Meyer, who led the Gators to two national titles during his five seasons with the school, will step down as the Gators coach because of health reasons.
“I have ignored my health for years, but recent developments have forced me to reevaluate my priorities of faith and family,” said Meyer in a statement.

TULSA, OK — Oral Roberts is being remembered at his namesake university Monday. The memorial service began at 2 p.m. at the ORU Mabee Center.

The Los Angeles Fire Department has responded to a 911 call from the home of actress Brittany Murphy’s husband.
Fire Department spokesman Devon Gale says the call was made at 8 a.m. Sunday from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to British screenwriter Simon Monjack, who is married to Murphy. Gale says one person was transported to a hospital.
