A Harry Potter fan built this model of Hogwarts school – out of 602,000 MATCHSTICKS. 

Patrick Acton, 55, spent more than two years to complete the model. It features all the turrets, walkways and towers seen in the boy wizard films. “I love the books and consider myself a Harry Potter fan,” he said.

Record-Breaking ‘Half-Blood Prince’ Sales

As expected Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince broke records with midnight viewing sales totaling $22.2 million at 3,003 locations. 

The sixth installment in the series, which cost $400 million to make, beat out The Dark Knight which previously held the record at $18.5 million. 

Half-Blood Prince is set to break other records with its debut this week in all major international territories.

Rain Spells For Potter Premiere

It may be one of the most anticipated movies of the summer but that didn’t stop the rain showers making an appearance at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

Rupert Grint, who appears to have recovered from a bout of swine flu, walked the red carpet in Leicester Square, along with Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
