POLICE are searching the streets of Labrador and Southport for a man in snakeskin shoes who allegedly attempted an armed robbery at a local chemist.
A man wielding a knife, attempted to rob the West End Pharmacy on Nerang Street just after 1.50pm.
He fled, emtpyhanded, in a cab, heading towards Musgrave Avenue before police rushed to the scene.
The dog squad has been sent to nearby streets.
