Adam Lambert is performing live at the Times Square Stage on a Hollywood backlot for Gridlock 2009 New Year’s Eve, hosted by Pamela Anderson.

But he tweeted Sunday morning, Dec. 27, “unfortunately Gridlocked NYE will NOT be filmed/televised/streamed. It’s a LIVE event only. Hope to see you there!!“

One of Hollywood’s most popular unmarried unions has come undone.

Us and People magazine have confirmed separately that it’s game over for Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, who had been a couple since they co-starred in the baseball classic “Bull Durham” in 1988.

The L.A. Coroner has ruled out foul play in the sudden death of the 32-year-old actress, who apparently suffered a heart attack in the shower early Sunday.

Carrie Underwood gets engaged (CNN)

(CNN) — Singer Carrie Underwood has gotten engaged to hockey player beau Mike Fisher, her spokesperson confirmed to CNN.

“I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” said Jessie Schmidt. “No wedding date has been set at this time.”

Fisher plays for the Ottawa Senators hockey team in Canada.
