Porsches new hybrid concept lapped the Nrburgring quicker than the hallowed Carrera GT.
Within the greatest surprise from the recent Geneva Motor Show, Porsche drawn the coverage from the 918 Spyder, a couple-chair supercar that’s both eco-friendly and mean. How eco-friendly? Well, driven accordingly, the 918Spyder will get 78 mpg, states Porsche, with low CO2 pollutants. And just how mean could it be? The 3285-lb. carbon-chassis 918 hits 62 miles per hour in under 3.2 seconds, states Porsche, and it has a high speed of 198 miles per hour. A V-8 using more than 500 bhp is mounted in front of the rear wheels, augmented by front and back electric motors that add an additional 218 hewlett packard towards the mix, given with a lithium-ion battery power. Having a pure electric mode along with a rear-biased race mode, the 918 Spyder is really eco-friendly and mean, and contains real production options. Don’t think us?
