NBA Team’s Top Rookie of All Time – Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors were not forever in the Bay Area, so when these were in Philadelphia in 1959, they’d one special rookie named Wilt Chamberlain.
In the first-ever season, Chamberlain averaged 37.6 points and 27 rebounds, while only fouling 2.1 occasions in 46.4 minutes. He continued to create the record for rebounds per game, because he won both Rookie from the Year and MVP awards that season.
Before entering the league, the large guy spent one year using the Harlem Globetrotters as a means of surpassing his final season at Kansas. His physical characteristics made him among the game’s most dominant gamers, and the statistics show still it even today.
Chamberlain’s rookie performance went untouched a lot more than half a century later, as it is perhaps among the greatest rookie performances in most of sports.
