Jason Kidd Dallas Mavericks Best Rookie of All Time

The Dallas Mavericks selected Jason Kidd from California using the second overall pick in 1994, even though he did not stick out enough to become the outright champion from the Rookie of the Year award, he was sufficiently good to share it with fellow rookie Grant Hill.

Kidd’s point-per-game average would be a decent 11.7, but his game was well-rounded enough also to land him earnings of seven.7 assists and 5.4 rebounds.

The actual treat for that Mavericks was that Kidd brought the league in triple-doubles that season.

Kidd continues to be a bit of a stat sheet stuffer his entire career, and the rookie year demonstrated to become the beginning point for that current-day 39-year-old point guard.
