A $100,000 reward is being offered after thousands of people from San Jose to Santa Cruz were left without phone and Internet service when fiber optic lines were cut.
AT&T is offering the reward leading to the arrest and conviction of those behind the cutting of a series of its lines in four different locations.
A spokesman for AT&T says in order to get access to the lines, a special tool had to be used to remove manhole covers.

Obama approval ratings are combined with optimism about the economy, according to a new survey by the U.S. in April 2009. Optimism in the economy, despite a staggering rise in unemployment nationally was reported earlier in Celebrity and Sport News.
