10 Nominees for FIFA Womens World Player Award
Four Americans and three Japanese were one of the 10 candidates introduced Thursday by FIFA and France Football magazine for that women’s world player of the season award.
Abby Wambach, Alex Morgan, Carli Lloyd and Megan Rapinoe assisted the U . s . States retain its Olympic gold medal last summer time in the London Games.
The 3 Japanese gamers are Aya Miyama, Miho Fukumoto and Homare Sawa in the protecting Women’s World Cup champions and Olympic runners-up.
Mia Hamm, in 2001 and 2002, was the final American player to win the award.

Camille Abily (France), Miho Fukumoto (Japan), Carli Lloyd (U.S.), Marta (South america), Aya Miyama (Japan), Alex Morgan (U.S.), Megan Rapinoe (U.S.), Homare Sawa (Japan), Christine Sinclair (Canada), Abby Wambach (U.S.).
Three runners up is going to be introduced November. 29 in São Paulo, South america, in voting by national team coaches and captains, and journalists. The champion is going to be introduced in Zurich on Jan. 7.
Ten coaches were also nominated for that women’s training award, a listing which includes Pia Sundhage, a Swede who upon the market because the coach from the U.S. senior national team, and Steve Swanson, who brought the U.S. under-20 team towards the world championship in Japan in September.
